We are looking for a full-time Video Editor to assemble recorded, stock and animated footage into a finished project suitable for social media platforms. As a Video Editor, you should be able to combine video clips and audio to tell a story.
Responsibilities:
- Input music, text, graphics and simple effects.
- Editing audio.
- Can edit for multiple outlets – Facebook, IG Reels, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Work with input from coworkers and superiors while bringing your creative ideas to the table.
- Hold yourself accountable to high-quality standards and constantly review all work before submitting it for feedback/approval.
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Use elements that cannot get a copyright strike, e.g. music, images and videos.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
- Knowledge of any video editing software.
- Collaborative spirit and a desire for constant improvement.
- Experience in creating motion graphics.
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects that are deadline-sensitive.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Experience in creating engaging content.
- A great portfolio of work.
