We are hiring: Digital Media Buyer
We are looking for a multi-tasker with keen eyes to monitor various media channels and assess how advertisements are performing across platforms and channels. Have the ability to make goal-driven and important decisions on where to place specific advertisements and campaigns.
As the digital media buyer for our firm, you will do more than decide which platforms to use for advertising and campaigns. You will work closely with media planners and marketers while contributing to the company’s growth through media strategies.
Digital Media Buyer Responsibilities:
- Buy media space.
- Defining, measuring, and evaluating relevant media KPIs
- Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organisation
- Provide ongoing, actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders.
- Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of media
- Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media.
- Conducting in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
- Develop, execute, and manage advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling ad creative, targeting strategies, and budgets that align with overall marketing objectives.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance to maximise ROI and achieve KPIs such as conversions, engagement, and reach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a similar field of study
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a media buyer, with a focus on advertising on Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar platforms.
- Excellent research, time management, and organisational skills.
- Skilled negotiator and a natural networker.
- Interpersonal skills, such as being a team player, are important.
- Possess good numerical and data management skills.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of advertising platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Relevant certification in digital marketing, advertising, or related fields is an added advantage.
