We are looking for a multi-tasker who has keen eyes to watch various media channels and assess how advertisements are performing on various platforms and media channels. Have the ability to make goal-driven and important decisions on where to place specific advertisements and campaigns.
As the digital media buyer for our firm, you will get to do more than decide which platforms should be used for advertisements and campaigns. You will work closely with media planners and marketers while contributing to the growth of the company via media strategies.
Digital Media Buyer Responsibilities:
- Buy media space.
- Defining, measuring, and evaluating relevant media KPIs
- Working cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization
- Provide ongoing, actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders.
- Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of media
- Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media.
- Conducting in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting.
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
- Develop, execute, and manage advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling ad creative, targeting strategies, and budgets that align with overall marketing objectives.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI and achieve KPIs such as conversions, engagement, and reach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a similar field of study
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a media buyer, with a focus on advertising on Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar platforms.
- Excellent research, time management, and organizational skills.
- Skilled negotiator and a natural networker.
- Interpersonal skills, such as being a team player, are important.
- Possess good numerical and data management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of advertising platforms, tools, and best practices.
- Relevant certification in digital marketing, advertising, or related fields is an added advantage.
